Getting to the Circuit from Your Hotel

Best hotel areas for F1 weekend: Sakhir desert hotels (closest to circuit, fully booked months in advance), Seef District (mid-range, 35 min to circuit), Juffair (budget-friendly, near US Naval Base area, 40 min to circuit).
Taxi from Al Khobar / Dammam — Day Trip Option
Many Saudi residents do the Grand Prix as a same-day trip — especially for Practice and Qualifying. The math works: depart Al Khobar at 7 AM, reach the circuit by 9 AM, watch the session, return by midnight. Total in-car time: ~3 hours. Total cost: ~360 SAR round trip per car (sedan).
For the race itself, we recommend staying overnight in Bahrain — the post-race causeway queue consistently runs 2–4 hours on Sunday night. A hotel stay lets you leave Monday morning when the queue is gone.
